My style is a photojournalistic of following the action of the day, catching those tender moments, laughs amoung friends, glances between loved ones...all the glimpses that come together to become the storybook of your wedding day.
Weddings are very unique, simply because of the emotion of the day. You need a photographer that can establish an emotional connection with with you and tell the story of the day you & your fiance were joined as one.
Photography is my passion; my life. Whether I'm photographing weddings in England or China or shooting fashion photography in North America, I strive to create images that move viewers, like you, spiritually and emotionally.

The weekend is almost here, the Fall weather has finally arrived and there’s wedding prettiness on the blog today. The world is good over here! I have a romantic and rustic chic DIY wedding from the lovely state of Mississippi.
Morgan and Ryan were married on March 09, 2013. Their wedding took place on a private property locally known as The Barn. (I love it!) Originally built as a man cave by the owner, it now makes for a beautiful venue for weddings.
All of the details were designed and craft by the bride’s mother! (I think Mom deserved a full day at the spa after the beautiful job she did!) This wedding is the epitome of rustic chic at its best.
Wishing Morgan and Ryan much happiness! Thank you to John Mathis Photography!

This adorable rustic wedding has got some personality behind it! Just take a look at the bride in all the photos below. That is a bride who is excited to be married! I love the one right after the ceremony with her arm raised in victory and you can almost hear her exclamation of excitement! And the one of her shining her new husband’s shoes: priceless! John Mathis Photography did such a great job keeping up with this couple and capturing all these once in a lifetime moments.
